May 09 – Salvation Army maintenance works
We have recently completed a number of planned maintenance schemes on behalf of The Salvation Army worth around £650k. The jobs involved undertaking internal and external maintenance works to a number of worship halls and officers quarters throughout Scotland. Site locations included Glasgow, Paisley, Port Glasgow, Greenock, Hamilton, Cumbernauld, Airdrie, Fort William, Oban, and Fife. The jobs ranged from 2 - 10 weeks in duration.
Feb 09 – Royal Mail Group – Gold Award!
PBS are delighted to announce that they have recently received their second gold supplier recognition award from the Royal Mail Group. This award follows on from last year’s gold award and recognises outstanding performance provided to this prestigious client during projects undertaken in 2008.
Nov 08 – Alterations at Baird Street Police Office, Glasgow
PBS have been awarded this £73k refurbishment/alterations project by Strathclyde Police. The project involves refurbishing existing office, toilet and corridor areas and has a 6 week duration.
Oct 08 – Alterations to Coxton Gardens, Glasgow
This 6 week fast-track project has recently been completed for Bield Housing Association. The £77k internal alterations contract required the existing warden’s accommodation to be converted into office space with a dayroom and new sanitary facilities.
Aug 08 – Alterations to Balloch Ward – Leverndale Hospital
We have just handed over this £300k project to client NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde. The 10 week alterations project involved forming new bedrooms and en-suite facilities within the existing bed bays together with associated mechanical, electrical, and external works.
Mar 08 – Buchanan Business Park, Stepps
PBS have recently completed a series of projects totalling £850k at this site for owners Catalyst Capital. The works included refurbishment of existing high bay warehouse units and office suites, and infrastructure works.
Jan 08 – Royal Mail Group – Gold Award!
PBS are delighted to announce that they have recently been presented with a gold supplier recognition award at an awards ceremony in London from the Royal Mail Group. This award goes one better than last year’s silver award and recognises outstanding performance provided to this prestigious client during projects undertaken in 2007.
Sep 07 – PBS are on the move again
We have just made the short jump and relocated to No.9 Saline Street, Airdrie. The purchase of the old church gives us a much larger floor plate to work from, includes a yard area, and reflects the continued growth and proposed expansion plans of the business. Aug 07 – Bausch & Lomb, Livingston
PBS have successfully completed the formation of a new sterilizer pit and associated link corridor within this 24 hour working contact lens production facility. The 8 week £50k contract included breaking out large sections of the existing concrete floor slab prior to remodelling it to form a large concrete sump pit for the new sterilizer on the production line.
Jan 07 – Royal Mail Group – Silver Award!
PBS are delighted to announce that they have recently picked up a silver supplier recognition award at an awards ceremony in London from the Royal Mail Group. This award recognises outstanding performance provided to this prestigious client during projects undertaken in 2006.
July 06 – Winnock Hotel extension ready for guests
PBS have successfully completed the 24 bedroom extension to the Winnock Hotel in Drymen. The project was completed on programme and within budget. Moreover the client was delighted with the project and the quality of the new extension (see customer feedback).
Mar 06 – PBS are on the move!

Jan 06 – PBS awarded contract for 24 bed extension to Winnock Hotel, Drymen
PBS have been awarded the £1.1m contract for a 24 bedroom extension and associated alterations to the Best Western Winnock Hotel in Drymen. The contact is due to start this month with a 25 week programme. The project design includes bespoke pod bathrooms which will be installed as the structure is erected.
